Founded in 1938 and centrally located at N12 Airport in Lakewood NJ, the Jersey Aero Club (JAC) is NJ's oldest active flying club and the 3rd oldest active club in the United States. The JAC is an organization of aviators and aviation enthusiasts with a wide range of experience who have created a social organization to support, promote, and advance general aviation through training, networking, advocacy, educational programs and share in the ownership of 5 airplanes

The Jersey Aero Club is a non-profit organization formed and operated for the purpose of providing a way of flying quality aircraft as inexpensively as possible for as many pilots as possible, and therefore, to aid in furthering general aviation.

There are so many reasons to fly. There are so many more reasons to fly with the Jersey Aero Club

We have over 80 years of rich aviation history. Our club has been flying since 1938 making it the 3rd oldest active club in the US! We must be doing something right.
As a club member, you're also an aircraft owner. You have access to 5 well-maintained aircraft.
We have something for everyone. Do you like high-wing planes? We have a Cessna 172. Prefer, low-wings? We have 2 Piper airplanes. Want to go fast? We have a Mooney M20J. Want to take a trip with the whole family? We have a Piper Saratoga that seats 6! We're the only club in NJ that has a six-seater.
Our rates are one of the lowest in NJ. Feel free to check for yourself, we've done the math. Compared to all of the other clubs in NJ we have the lowest rates per hour and low initiation fees. We're able to do this by being fiscally prudent and taking great care of our planes instead of waiting until the problem gets worse (and more expensive).
We are a flying community. All of our members are aviation geeks and love to talk about flying so instead of driving your friends and family crazy with all of the "plane talk", you'll be among like-minded enthusiasts who share stories, tips, trips, and camaraderie.
